Hey! So Glad You're Here.

My name is Lauren Graham, I am a psychotherapist and art therapist in Houston, Texas. I am a first-generation college graduate. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas State University, a Masters of Arts in Counseling from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Post-Graduate Certification in Expressive Arts Therapy from Prescott College. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC), a nationally certified counselor (NCC), licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC), and art therapist (ATR-BC).

I am of Central American descent, born and raised in Texas. I am bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish. I feel very privileged to be bilingual and able to provide therapy services for the Latino community! My clinical experience includes working for federally funded agencies providing therapy services to underserved populations in Houston. I have always been passionate about helping those individuals who typically have less access to mental health services. Since I started in the field I have provided therapy to many diverse populations. My specialty is working with children and adolescents!

Art Therapy Inspiration:

Cathy Malchiodi- She is an art therapist and author. I love her work on art therapy and trauma. Her work has informed me of the value of using expressive arts with the trauma population.

Anna Llenas- Author of artsy children books that are mental health-related. She is an art therapist in Spain. She has a unique mixed media style to her work that I adore!

Art Inspiration:

I love the artwork of Jane Davenport, Christy Tomlinson, Kelly Rae Roberts, Dina Wakely, Rae Missigman, Romero Britto, and  Danielle Donaldson. Their artwork is colorful and unique!
